Strategic Analytics Program Manager for Logistics Optimization

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Analytics Program Manager to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our Fulfillment Experience Organization, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end programs and processes that drive strategic logistical initiatives across Amazon's operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data management systems, and a proven track record of delivering results through effective solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to refine planning, tools, and processes, and drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes and driving automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal Program Managers to refine planning, tools, and processes, and drive the future roadmap for Mexico connectivity planning.
  • Improve performance to plan by identifying, measuring, and managing key metrics related to Amazon Fulfillment process improvement and standardization of processes across all sites in the network.
  • Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Tableau, SQL, and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Participate in long-term planning and modeling sessions.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of progressive responsibility in program or project management.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g., t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., SQL, Python, Java, or R).
  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • English & Spanish written and verbal communication skills B2+.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor on any Engineering.
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems.
  • Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes.
  • Ability to drive successful partnerships with cross-functional leadership to execute strategic initiatives and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills when confronted with difficult situations exhibiting ability to keep the team focused and motivated.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
