We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of North America Wealth Personal Banking Operations. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of recovering technology delivered production services from a disrupted state as quickly as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the process of recovering technology delivered production services from a disrupted state as quickly as possible.
  • Ensure HSBC global and local service management best practices are applied and adhered to.
  • Identify, plan, and implement service resiliency gaps to improve IT service availability of Canada, US, and Mexico services.
  • Build service observability capabilities to detect service anomalies before they impact customers.
  • Collaborate globally with Europe and AP regions to ensure follow the sun model service operation capabilities are built and available 24x7 for IT escalations and represent critical IT service failures at Management Execution Calls (MEC).
  • Lead multi-skilled site reliability engineers, incident commander, and liaison officers.

Requirements

  • ITIL Expert certification.
  • DevOps Master certification.
  • Knowledge of SRE principles.
  • Techno-functional WPB service and infrastructure knowledge with proven experience of recovering critical IT services.
