Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of hundreds of servers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Create Ansible playbooks and maintain useful written information about our infrastructure
  • Care and feeding of hundreds of physical machines including purchasing as we need to replace EOL machines
  • Support internal customers by resolving incident and service requests
  • Coordinate with members of the global Storage Engineering team
  • Participate in continuous improvement
  • Lead / Mentor other team members

The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, or Fedora, as well as experience with hybrid cloud technologies such as OpenShift, OpenStack, Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with tools like Ansible, Bash, Python, Git is also required. Additionally, the ability to work in a geographically distributed team and willingness to embrace challenge with a positive attitude and a solid customer focus are essential.
