About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team at Alfa Laval. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue within a defined area of responsibility, focusing on energy efficiency solutions for various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conclude direct sales of Alfa Laval products within a defined area of responsibility, acting as an energy hunter to help customers reduce energy waste, water consumption, and CO2 emissions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Work closely with a line manager or experienced field salesperson to offer innovative and efficient heat transfer solutions to the Refinery, Petrochemical, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning industries.
  • Drive technical links with customers, specifying AL technologies needed, quoting AL products, and finding the best mix between responding in time and detail level.
  • Be active in the market, focusing on making visits, meetings, and interactions with existing customers to understand their needs and highlight the value of our products and services.
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing and maintain customer relationships through our CRM system.
  • Oversee business plans and forecasts for your own customer portfolio.
  • Develop expertise in sustainability to calculate energy savings, emission reductions, annual water savings, annual cost savings, and payback time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience selling CAPEX in the manufacture of metal work industry with proven knowledge in sales and process industries (O&G, Gas compression, pipelines, power, petrochemical, mining).
  • Nice to have experience in heat exchangers and/or centrifugal separation.
  • Proven English skills (C1 or proficiency level) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Digital skills, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM systems.
