About the Position

As an Implementation Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team creating compelling patient experiences for our healthcare clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of patient journeys and healthcare provider workflows
  • Providing a technical perspective in UX design discussions
  • Troubleshooting technical issues during testing sessions and once the solutions are live
  • Being on-call to investigate and troubleshoot production issues during working hours
  • Contributing to building/updating existing functionalities in our platform core
Requirements

To thrive as an Implementation Engineer, you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree with coursework in STEM subjects or equivalent work experience
  • Strong English speaking and writing skills
  • A strong foundation in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
  • A good understanding of Linux/Unix commands for navigating file systems, managing processes, and handling basic system administration tasks
  • Ability to manage version control from the command line using Git commands
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to establish trust with people who are different from yourself

We also value experience with:

  • Cloud computing, especially AWS (S3, AWS CLI, CloudWatch, SQS)
  • Machine Learning, training data, features, models, data preprocessing and transformation, Natural Language Processing
  • Healthcare experience (e.g., experience as a clinical care coordinator or nurse)
  • Agile and/or Lean methodologies
