Our Optical Communications division has transitioned from merely producing optical fiber and cable, hardware, and equipment to becoming a comprehensive provider of top-tier optical solutions across the broader communications sector. This division is categorized into two primary product groups: carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network group mainly includes products and solutions for optical-based communication infrastructure supporting services such as video, data, and voice communications. The enterprise network group primarily consists of optical-based communication networks marketed to businesses, governmental entities, and individuals for personal use.

Job Purpose

The role involves overseeing the master data within the Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain master data for equipment (including creating new entries, deactivating and removing equipment, and updating locations).
  • Establish and modify locations within the CMMS.
  • Manage and update maintenance user accounts in the CMMS.
  • Design and revise work plans (Job Plans) for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Communicate updates related to the CMMS via email. Assist with CMMS enhancements, implementation, and testing.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as needed (ISO, TL, 5s, Safety, Sarbox, etc.). Update performance metrics based on data derived from the CMMS.

Education:

Electromechanical Technician or Mechatronics Technician.

Experience:

  • Experience as a maintenance technician for assembly lines.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, as well as technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of GD&T. Proficient in using multimeters, megger, and thermal cameras.
  • Skilled in using calipers, torque wrenches, and micrometers.
  • Experience in generating daily reports utilizing computerized maintenance management systems.
