Job Summary

This role is focused on establishing the IKEA store as a premier destination for furnishing businesses in the local market. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for optimizing sales and sustained profitability by working closely with business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the local market, consumer behavior, and business needs to enhance customer shopping experiences.
  • Regularly engage with customers and colleagues on the shop floor to gather feedback and input on improving shopping ease, convenience, and success for business customers.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team, local marketing, and matrix partners to create an offer suitable for the local market across various media channels.
  • Foster long-lasting relationships with the local business community to increase awareness of IKEA's offerings and meet their furnishing needs.
  • Ensure co-workers are available and actively assist customers when needed, optimizing the impact of IKEA BUSINESS consultants.
  • Stay informed about all services offered in the store and leverage this knowledge to help customers make informed choices, resulting in a better shopping experience.
  • Address customer complaints confidently, using product knowledge and organizational expertise to provide informed solutions.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for visitors and coworkers at all times.
Commercial Objectives

The primary objective is to grow sales and sustain long-term profitability by understanding local market potential and leading the commercial team, local marketing, store commercial activity leader, and other stakeholders to plan and implement commercial activities that attract and convert more business visitors to customers.
