Key Responsibilities- Verify insurance eligibility for future patient appointments using Pediatric Associates Eligibility Verification Quality Checklist
- Review patient insurance for future appointments and identify eligibility requirements based on health plan
- Update patient insurance details accurately and efficiently
- Identify eligibility issues, communicate them to patients/parents, and accurately document action taken
- Meet productivity standards as determined by the company
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
This role requires working in a professional office environment, with clear and concise communication using email and phone. You will need to be able to operate a keyboard, type at 35 wpm, and use other office equipment as necessary.
