In this role, you will work closely with the NA Channel Sales team to develop insights to drive and improve business performance. This position is highly visible, providing broad exposure to a multi-billion dollar business and exposing you to a wide range of business issues and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage the recurring business forecasting process.
- Analyze complex and detailed data to identify trends and track business performance.
- Work closely with sales leaders and other business planners to develop, execute, and evaluate business plans.
- Evaluate compensation plans and coverage alternatives.
- Define and drive projects to increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Utilize data from various sources to objectively assess business performance relative to internal plans and the external market.
- Provide ongoing business operational support, including ad-hoc projects, for one or more route-to-market sales leaders.
- Engage with individuals within the channel sales team and across functions, including finance, sales comp, sales operations, business planning, market intelligence, and others, to gain a broad understanding of the complex business and provide insightful recommendations.
- Manage large data sets from multiple sources and summarize and present findings concisely to an executive-level audience.
Education and Experience
- Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and data manipulation skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to learn quickly and draw conclusions from multiple data sources and disciplines.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, Thoughtspot, DnA, PowerBI, and other BI tools and data sets.
