Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of supply chain activities in our projects or capitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor the implementation of supply chain activities in the project or capital, ensuring compliance with our protocols and standards.
  • Manage the supply administration, including the correct filing and archiving of supply databases and the efficient processing and follow-up of orders and requests.
  • Procure goods and services, including market assessments, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
  • Ensure the clearing and transportation of medical and non-medical goods, and provide information on timelines regarding administrative procedures.
  • Control quality and costs, and determine the quantities of products to buy, taking into account demand and needs, availability forecasts, delivery timelines, budget, and other relevant factors.
  • Monitor stock levels, including monthly consumption figures, expiry dates, excess drugs, and possible shortages.
  • Communicate with customers, keeping them informed about their order status, and prioritize procurement and transportation according to their needs.
  • Coordinate and lead the team under your responsibility, including defining tasks, supervising quality, and drawing up working schedules.
  • Supervise the associated processes, including recruitment, training, evaluation, potential detection, development, and communication, to ensure the sizing and amount of knowledge required.

Requirements:

  • Degree, technical diploma, or specialization in Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • At least 2 years of certified work experience in relevant logistics jobs and previous humanitarian experience.
  • English (B1-B2 level) is essential, and knowledge of French is desirable.
  • Microsoft collaboration platforms, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft productivity tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Results-oriented, teamwork, cooperation, flexibility, commitment, and resilience in high-pressure and crisis situations.

  • Monthly remuneration: in the first 12 months, the bonus approximate gross monthly is USD $1,500. From the second year, remuneration increases based on experience and level of responsibility.
  • Private insurance coverage, including medical coverage and hospital, temporary disability, and life insurance.
  • Medical evacuation, if necessary.
  • Expenses of stay in the land are covered, including housing, basic services, cleaning, and washing.
  • Other expenses, such as transportation, visas, transfer to the country of destination, and displacements in the field, will also be covered.
