Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Data Scientist to join our innovative team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in data science but with a strong passion for data and a keen interest in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and clean data from various sources, including databases, web scraping, and public datasets.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Apply basic statistical methods to analyze data and generate preliminary reports.
  • Support the development of machine learning models to solve business problems.
  • Assist in evaluating model performance and making improvements.
  • Contribute to feature identification and testing, implementing feedback loops to refine models.
  • Prepare models for deployment, working closely with production operations to monitor performance.
  • Create visualizations and reports to effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with SQL for database querying.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries, such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, and data visualization tools, such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Understanding of statistical methods and their applications.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or project experience in data science or related fields.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other product management tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
