As a Procurement Professional at GEP, you will lead strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities. You will identify, develop, and implement process improvement ideas that drive improved efficiencies and cost savings. You will meet and exceed all service level requirements and drive exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing process improvement ideas
  • Meeting and exceeding all service level requirements
  • Interacting with senior levels in client organizations
  • Coaching and mentoring of consultants
  • Firm building activities, including recruiting, training, etc.
  • Participating in Firm Growth Strategy and Execution activities
  • Knowledge and Intellectual Capital building for the firm

Requirements:

  • 6 years consulting procurement experience in top consulting firms, as well as procurement outsourcing background (e-auctions & retail)
  • Solid procurement knowledge
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus
  • Ability to lead and manage meetings
  • Experience in leading small and medium-size projects and assignments
  • Ability to convert large amounts of information into concise descriptions
  • Ability to work in self-managed and team environments
  • Good record of interaction with customers
  • Good presentation skills
  • Open to traveling to client sites up to 80% if required
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Exposure to business development is a plus
  • Active American visa
