About the Role

The Digital Marketing Strategist role is an extremely advanced position in the development and implementation of digital programs and campaigns in a supporting manner to internal partners regarding the digital execution of vendor campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executes digital marketing efforts, optimizes the user experience throughout the sales cycle, increases marketing effectiveness, improves customer satisfaction, and amplifies the TD SYNNEX brand.
  • Built brand engagement, drives qualified and relevant traffic, and derives consumer insights to help optimize strategies from online campaign performance.
  • Maintains an expert level knowledge of tools, principles, theories, and concepts in the area of professional expertise.
  • Maintains extremely high level of competence in job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Develops solutions to a wide variety of problems and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis.
  • May develop policies, practices, and precedents for guidance and determines the best course of action to achieve results.
  • Work is performed independently requiring judgment, discretion, and decision-making with minimal direction.
  • Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.
  • Represents the organization as an authority or subject matter expert on multiple aspects of digital marketing.
  • Interacts with management and professionals within the department and other parts of the organization.
  • May represent the department externally on projects.
  • Actions impact the success of the overall department and sometimes the organization.
  • Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions will result in delays to projects, loss of revenue, or allocation of additional resources to remedy.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Strategize, create, optimize, execute digital marketing campaigns, manages platforms for online promotional campaigns in diverse categories of advanced digital implementation including web design, digital advertising, email marketing, e-merchandising, online learning, digital video, digital online broadcast (webinars and live stream), online content management, and other related digital marketing areas.
  • Creates and implements digital marketing assets and performs other marketing activities to meet business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Manages digital content, content procurement, development, and content posting activities.
  • Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of marketing in channel distribution and applies knowledge to digital campaign planning.
  • Maintains brand standards or TD SYNNEX and its vendor partners.
  • Consults with stakeholders and leads design teams for digital specifications and user experience.
  • Reviews and edits all incoming content to ensure product consistency, spelling, pricing, promotional or launch materials meet specified requirements and parameters, translations, etc.
  • Optimizes and improves strategic digital marketing activities by recommending advanced traffic building strategies.
  • Supports marketing in driving traffic to attract and convert new customers, gain user adoption, and increase online sales.
  • Develops reporting, measures, analyzes, tests, implements strategies to make incremental change, advocates continual improvement in digital marketing analytics.
  • Develops advanced/integrated marketing programs, is active in the development of new digital marketing deliverables, and may be involved in annual planning.
  • May conduct internal audits of marketing deliverables, external vendor RFI's or develop proposals as needed.
  • May lead in the development of new marketing projects, platforms, dashboards, or customer-facing tools.
  • Conducts TD SYNNEX associate training and presentations in the area of expertise.
  • Participates in the development and amplification of skills or acts as a mentor to other digital marketing specialists.
  • Maintains current market standards and possesses the capability to set new market trends.
  • Consults on best-of-class deliverables and strategies, tools, and processes internationally across regions and businesses.
  • Tracks, collects, analyzes, and reports data, identifies trends and insights, and evaluates results to achieve maximum ROI for on-site campaigns.
