Okta is seeking a highly skilled Developer Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Identity Cloud team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients, including debugging and resolving complex software issues.
Responsibilities- Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshooting for application development with Okta's Identity Platform.
- Take ownership of customer inquiries and issues, including initial troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Documentation, to identify and address common or emerging issues.
- Develop and maintain process or troubleshooting documentation in the support knowledge base.
- Engage with the Okta developer community through forums and other channels.
- Deliver exceptional customer experience and meet customer satisfaction targets.
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Support, technical support, solutions/sales engineering, or software development.
- Demonstrated ability to program in JavaScript and one statically typed language (C#, Java).
- Experience supporting Single Page Applications and modern web applications built using frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, Spring, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core.
- Passion for solving complex technical issues and advocating for customer success in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
