About the Role:

The **App Support Specialist** is a trainee professional role within Citigroup Inc. that requires a good understanding of the range of processes, procedures, and systems used in carrying out assigned tasks. This position demands a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing system logic and recommend enhancements or fixes.
  • Conduct fact finding and document requirements.
  • Partner with development and production support areas.
  • Apply good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
  • Assess the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures.
  • Exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Basic level experience in an App Support role (combination of education/experience).
  • Basic knowledge or interest about App Support procedures, concepts, and of other technical areas.
  • Participation in some process improvements.
  • Previous experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge in banking applications and server infrastructure.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
