Sales Director for Africa

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our global sales force and contributing to the business development of Global Water Engineering Group.
This is a challenging position that requires a sales and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. The Sales Director will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Sell complete water treatment plants, waste-to-energy, and biogas utilization installations in the assigned region.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct frequent visits to the area to identify opportunities for our clients and prospects.
- Product Introduction: Introduce our innovative technologies to prospects and clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and further develop the network of existing clients, governments, engineering agencies, and local advisors.
- Internal Communication: Communicate with our sales and engineering team to deliver economically attractive solutions tailored to clients' requirements and local conditions.
- Education: Technical bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Multiple years of sales experience in the industry, preferably in wastewater, biogas, or energy.
- Skills: Experience with long sales projects with complex decision-making units (DMUs).
- Network: Recognizable network in the food industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the food & beverage, starch, distilleries, palm oil, paper & pulp industry, and semi-private solid waste companies is an advantage.
- Travel: Frequent traveling (35% of the time).
