Job Title: Group Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Sales Director to join our team at Ennismore. As a Group Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving group sales revenue by identifying and securing group bookings, providing account management for new and existing accounts, and working with other sales team members to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Qualify Potential Leads: Conduct research and follow the hotel sales strategy and goals to identify potential leads and qualify them for group bookings.
  • Create and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to achieve optimum market share and understand their needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare Compelling Proposals and Presentations: Develop and maintain product knowledge, including all relevant rate structures and promotional offers, to create compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our hotel's facilities, services, and offerings to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate Favorable Terms and Contracts: Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with clients while ensuring alignment with hotel policies and revenue objectives, prepare and conduct proper site inspections, and track contract signing and payment within stipulated deadlines.
  • Work Closely with Events, Catering, and Operations Teams: Collaborate with the events, catering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Stay Abreast of Industry Trends and Market Dynamics: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze Sales Data and Market Trends: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast sales revenue accurately and provide regular reports and updates to the Director of Group Sales.
  • Manage Group Sales Budget Effectively: Manage the group sales budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Provide Guidance and Support to the Sales Team: Provide guidance and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum Three Years of Sales Leadership Experience: A minimum of three years of sales leadership experience in a similar-sized operation is required, preferably in an upscale and/or lifestyle brand hotel or luxury resort.
  • All-Inclusive Experience: All-inclusive experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Food and Beverage, Catering Sales, Conference Service, and Marketing Management: Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, catering sales, conference service, and marketing management experience, guest relations, and etiquette is required.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in Spanish and English, are required.
  • Basic Understanding of Legal Contract Language: A basic understanding of legal contract language is required.
  • Proven Team Leader with High Level of Energy and Motivation: A proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, with a proven track record of living the company's values, is required.
  • Proficient Understanding of Computer Systems: A proficient understanding of computer systems, including Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
