**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Cost Controller Assistant to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the financial status of our IKEA projects, with a focus on retail cost.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform monthly cost reconciliation and generate cost management reports for IKEA projects.
  • Support cash flow review, annual budgeting, and forecasting for IKEA projects.
  • Support project cost account booking by contributing cost information to the Finance team.
  • Support budgetary controls, such as the retail change order process, to ensure rigorous control, visibility, and strict monitoring of retail costs for early warning of potential overspends.
  • Assist in the review of purchase orders in the system for retail investment.
  • Administer the payment process and liaise with the Finance team to follow through.

**Requirements**

  • At least 3 years of working experience in project costing exposures.
  • Experience with budget/cost estimating, cash flow, and forecast projections.
  • Good understanding of accounting requirements.
  • Good written and oral skills with English as the first language.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and tactical abilities.
