Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of the standard cost system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational accounting best practices to improve financial performance.
  • Lead in the reporting and management of inventory, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support Operations and Commercial teams in costing-related analysis and decision-making.
  • Assist in the monthly close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the annual audit process, ensuring accurate and complete financial reporting.
  • Perform profitability analysis by business division, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct gross profit analysis per product/customer, providing insights for business decisions.
  • Assist in the annual operative planning process, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Identify and support report automation opportunities, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Manage capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with company priorities.
  • Develop proficiency in SAP, becoming a site system leader.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent required.
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Proficiency in computer and related software programs (SAP, Oracle, MS Office tools).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Accounting or Finance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in participating and/or managing multiple on-going projects individually or with other team members.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and motivation.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of commitment, creativity, teamwork, and good assertiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to form strong working relationships and communicate well with team members at all organizational levels.
  • Hands-on attitude.
