Test Lead with Game QA Expertise

We are seeking a Test Lead to join our Lionbridge Games team.

As a Senior Test Lead, you will be an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional gaming experiences worldwide. With your expertise, you will help us maintain the highest quality standards in game testing.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring Project Quality: Oversee assigned projects to guarantee they meet our stringent quality expectations.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including preparation of reports, based on client specifications.
  • Analysis and Bug Management: Analyze test results, identify bugs, and ensure efficient issue tracking and resolution.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create, update, and maintain project documentation, ensuring effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Customer Liaison and Team Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the project level, lead and mentor test team members, and assist in coaching junior staff.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience leading large test teams or similar management positions.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in game testing, with a strong understanding of game development cycles.
  • PREFERRED: Higher education in a technology-related field.
  • Experience working with game studios is advantageous.
  • A professional proficiency in English.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for video games and knowledge of the global gaming market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent work organization.
  • Demonstrated capability in writing detailed area test plan documents, executing test strategies, and performing exploratory testing.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
