Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage the Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) within the Quality Information Management (QIM) database, ensuring effective containment and validating the robustness of these measures.
  • Assist APU Managers and Site Managers in analyzing issues identified during QRQC activities.
  • Maintain and update APU quality tracking metrics, including Customer Returns and Cost of Non-Quality.
  • Conduct line audits to identify non-compliance with established Standards and collaborate with APU teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Engage in the resolution of customer complaints and non-quality issues.
  • Ensure adherence to established rules during APU QRQC meetings, emphasizing the importance of stopping processes at the first sign of disagreement or non-compliance.
  • Revise control plans following any identified issues.
  • Verify compliance with the 4M matrix regarding product or process changes, ensuring customer awareness and approval of such changes.
  • Update quality documentation in response to process-related changes.
  • Ensure continuous process conformance to produce products that meet specifications, in line with control plans, including conducting annual machine capability audits.
  • Possess the authority to halt manufacturing or assembly lines in situations where Standards are not adhered to or when safety or quality risks are identified.
  • Act as the customer representative within Valeo on quality-related matters, facilitating communication and escalation as necessary.
  • If appointed as APU Quality Leader, report directly to this position without superseding the authority of the APU Quality Leader or Site Quality Manager.
  • Oversee Product Development, Corrective Actions, and closure management for incidents involving internal suppliers.

Qualifications:

Education: Engineering degree required.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in production and 3 to 5 years in the automotive industry.
