Job Summary
Landis+Gyr, a leading global provider of integrated energy management solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient and effective management of raw materials in our Reynosa facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations between delivery and shipment areas, while maintaining accurate data and adhering to ISO 9000 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and store direct and indirect materials, ensuring SAP transactions integrity
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate data in SAP for receiving, storage, and final product transfer areas
- Ensure proper flow of materials to production areas, adhering to 5S principles and supermarket area standards
- Ship finished products to customers, ensuring SAP transactions integrity
- Track and resolve issues related to customer shipments
- Perform physical inventory execution and monitor performance metrics
- Implement corrective and preventive actions through internal audits and inventory analysis
- Provide training to team members on material flow processes and SAP transactions
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Contribute to the development of process improvements and best practices
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency
- Experience in environmental manufacturing and MS Office management
- APICS certification
- Minimum 2 years of management experience and 8-10 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control
- Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Kanban/Pull system projects
- Leadership experience in warehouse operations
