Senior Experience Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Experience Designer to join our team at Age of Learning, Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Create concepts, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to define, present, and iterate on UX and UI designs.
- Visual Design: Develop style guides and mood boards and help guide the visual design of features.
- Marketing Materials: Design engaging and effective marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, and email campaigns.
- UI Assets: Design beautiful and scalable UI assets and vector icons to work across multiple platforms.
- Design Toolkit: Create and manage the marketing creative UI toolkit and patterns.
- User Research: Conduct user research, observe and learn from user behavior, and utilize behavioral data to generate practical insights.
- Audience Understanding: Understand and incorporate the needs and preferences of our audience into the development of the user experience.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
- Design Expertise: Act as a UX expert and advisor to the team on those principles, standards, and best practices.
- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders, and incorporate feedback and revisions from stakeholders to refine designs.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in the app development industry specializing in UX/UI.
- Design Tools: Expertise in Adobe range of products including XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
- Prototyping: Very experienced with prototyping design software (Figma, Sketch, or similar tools) and the prototype development process.
- Design Best Practices: Extensive experience in using UI/UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Prototyping: Ability to create complex interactive prototypes to express interactive design ideas based upon user and stakeholder input and feedback.
- Visual Style: Proven ability to adapt and adhere to an established visual style and build upon it.
