**Job Summary**
You will be a key member of our team at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, driving and implementing digital strategy for quality control, impacting a large user population to enable them to perform their work in laboratories more efficiently and with improved user experience.
The Director of Quality Control IT will be joining our Quality IT team and will be responsible for supporting delivery and operations of IT applications which enable the Quality Control laboratories across all our operations sites. In this role, you will work to enable project delivery, implementation, and operational support of LabWare LIMS within the QC and AS&T area for our operations & quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- As part of the Global QCIT team, support delivery and operations of laboratory applications, drive solution delivery and implementation of IT applications as standards for our operations laboratories.
- Partner with our Quality Control personnel to understand the needs and priorities of the business, and to deliver the best solutions possible to meet the needs of the end user.
- Day-to-day support and engagement with external teams supporting the delivery and operations of LabWare LIMS.
- Deliver and maintain key CSV documentation to support design and implementation of processes within a highly complex QC area.
- Collaboration with QC stakeholders across US timezones.
- Pro-actively seek to identify and communicate risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Share learnings and experiences across teams, with a view to implementing best practices for our operations.
- Identify, shape, and (together with business stakeholders) prioritize technology enhancements for QC-IT systems.
- Work to support, maintain, and enhance LabWare LIMS.
- Support with vendor governance activities.
- Other activities such as escalation management and future strategy as required by management.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor university degree or higher.
- At least 5 years experience in the Quality Control area.
- LIMS Administrator or Super User Experience (LabWare LIMS is preferred).
- Languages: English.
- Skills Desired: Budget Management, Business Acumen, Influencing Skills, Performance Management, Risk Management, Service Delivery Management, Strategic Planning, Waterfall Project Management.
