We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Consulting Director to join our Global Delivery Centre (GDC) team. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and train technical consulting teams in delivering strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and execution of change programs.

About the Role

As a Technical Consulting Director, you'll play a pivotal role in managing, training, and building the careers of our technical consulting team members. You'll be responsible for handling individual contributors, providing guidance on project management roles, and collaborating with delivery managers, technical consultants, and Salesforce University teams to ensure efficient onboarding and ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor technical consulting teams in implementing complex business processes using Industry Cloud technology and the Force.com platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful customer outcomes, focusing on user experience and seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Mentor junior consultants, helping them thrive in a professional consulting environment, and assist direct reports in defining and achieving individual goals.
  • Liaise with customers to understand their requirements, translating these into effective solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of technical consulting team members, ensuring they remain up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience leading professional consulting teams delivering large enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
  • Proven expertise in agile and hybrid SDLC models, including full lifecycle deployments.
  • Experience in project management roles, specifically handling individual contributors and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of user interface design principles, with a focus on developing intuitive and visually appealing applications.
  • Familiarity with various technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apex, LWC, and more.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
