About the Role:

Celanese Corporation is seeking a skilled Order Coordinator to join our team. As a key liaison between Customer Experience, S&OP, Commercial, and BL, you will play a critical role in providing early warning signals and supporting our customers during times of shortages.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day handling of problem open orders versus available inventory at different storage locations and warehouses for a given product portfolio.
  2. Coordinate gap closing activities to meet target outlook through access inventory consumption, back-order pull in, repositioning of orders, and understanding various packaging types.
  3. Monitor warehouse/storage locations inventory vs. plant inventory to guide order entry at the right location.
  4. In tight supply situations, develop a customer-level distribution plan based on supply availability, demand forecast, customer segmentation/treatment, and business prioritization decisions.
  5. Ensure the plan focuses on reliability and minimal disruption.
  6. Negotiate and communicate with impacted CSRs and Schedulers, the mitigation plan to manage inventory/production, while highlighting actions for Customer Service and Demand Teams.
  7. Define individual customer mitigation plans by assessing available options such as alternative packages, alternative ship points, partial shipments, etc.
  8. Negotiate possible schedule changes to optimize customer service. Aim to minimize customer impact, scheduling changes, and freight expenses.
  9. Follow up on availability constraints due to material testing, external processors, imported material processes, etc., and manage communication to Customer Service and other impacted parties as appropriate.
  10. Participate in Decision/S&OP meeting for 'Z6 review' and optimize order fulfillment.
  11. Maintain documentation of all agreements, approvals, and requests (in the OEP database).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field is required.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as CAR or Supply Chain Planner/Scheduler required.
  3. Intensive understanding of SAP order entry and order management activities required.
  4. Knowledge of Business Rules and Policies.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint).
  6. Experience with EM product portfolio desirable.
  7. Fluent English, Spanish, Portuguese is an advantage.
