Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Account Manager to join our team at Siemens. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio of products and services in the northern region to help Automotive customers take advantage of Siemens solutions more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Siemens Digital Industries portfolio of products and services in the northern region to help Automotive customers take advantage of Siemens solutions more effectively.
  • Analyze and evaluate markets (both product and services portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers to identify additional sales potential.
  • Drive customer-specific global strategies and integrate new solutions from our growing portfolio into the customer landscape.
  • Work with customers to develop tailor-made solutions particularly in the Engineering and Production environments including all related domains.
  • Execute sales targets for direct, indirect, local and international business.
  • Execute activities and measures at dedicated accounts to increase sales and to achieve defined commercial targets.
  • Develop short and long-term sales strategies in the field of Siemens Digital Industries Strategy in region North.
  • Stay up-to-date on the technical features of our products' portfolio and maintain this knowledge.
  • Generate new business opportunities through tracking investments.
  • Deliver on quarterly and annual numbers while maintaining focus on competition, customer, and technology landscapes to form a strategic near- and long-term outlook.
  • Identify and build strong relationships with customers and uncover customer desired objectives or needs.
  • Coordinate workshops and events related to the portfolio of products and services. Support other Account Managers with specific product knowledge.
  • Participate in the orders and revenue business planning.
  • Support the overall assigned KAM organization and plan sales volumes and potential of key targeted customers.
  • Support strategic key customers' business development.
  • Orchestrate teams both local and international, including the internal interfaces like e.g. Presales, Services, Product Management, Technical Specialists, Partners.
  • Contribute to the development of a Pre- and After Sales Service that is focused on customers' needs.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years working in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience dealing with customer organizations at different departments.
  • Secure and sovereign behavior dealing also with C-Level.
  • At least 5 years working experience including shown experience handling complex business relationships and working within cross functional teams/processes to achieve goals.
  • Strong ability to build solutions across multiple partners in complex relationships.
  • Experience in automation and industrial software solutions and any other related field.
  • Knowledge of the Mexican automotive market.
  • University degree.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Advanced English language knowledge.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Business results and customer orientation.
  • Travel availability 50%.
