Job Summary

Constellation Brands is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Analyst to support the management of logistics functions across the integrated supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring industry trends, standards, and practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution. They will create and revise standard operating procedures for all logistics processes, perform data analyses, and devise strategies to create a cost/service value proposition for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data, including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution.
  • Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipments.
  • Develops and reviews logistics processes and procedures, identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.
  • Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes.
  • Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, quality, and inventory integrity.
  • Audits warehouse operations, security, and quality SLA's.
  • Performs record/data audit functions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manages logistics KPI's and shares information such as summary for the monthly performance report for each category of materials.
  • Implements solutions to border issues with carriers, customs, and customs brokers.
  • Analyzes executability of the optimized network distribution design and provides feedback of the operational insight.
  • Incidents and exceptions management, detects operational issues, and manages remediation actions to avoid disruptions in production schedules.
  • Tracks accessorial charges for rail car and truck shipments as required.
  • Participates and contributes to the planning, execution, and tracking of Logistics Financial performance.
  • Ensures effective logistics planning and execution and coordination between logistics with a MRP and breweries operations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Works closely with DBA, IDS, and business to deliver on CBI's logistics digital journey.
  • Maintains database(s) of logistics information.
  • Troubleshoots any issues with data flow in TMS/SAP, WMS, YMS, Ortec, or other digital systems and coordinates action plans with technical teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to various problems and issues.
  • Ability to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
