About the Role

The Emerging Corporate Relationship Manager is a key professional role within Citigroup Inc. that focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial banking products and processes, as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepen relationships with clients through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with senior Relationship Managers, product specialists, and subject matter experts to structure customized solutions that meet clients' unique needs.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
  • Drive innovation in the solutions provided to clients and further develop the business where necessary.
  • Identify and pursue new clients aligned with CITI COMMERCIAL BANK (CCB)'s value proposition.
  • Stay connected with influencers, industry associations, thought leaders, and senior business contacts to expand industry knowledge and deepen CITI COMMERCIAL BANK (CCB)'s relationship with these partners.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial banking or a related field.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of commercial banking products and processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of credit skills and Early Warning Detection.
  • Intermediate understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and financial statement analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Communicates views with clarity and confidence.
  • Maintains contact with key stakeholders to proactively seek input as appropriate.
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting clients' needs.
  • Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience delivered for clients.
  • Positive mindset with a 'can-do' attitude, willingness to go the extra mile for providing sound advice and effective services to clients.
  • Able to anticipate client requests/needs and resolves queries in a timely manner, leveraging internal resources.
  • Sharp business development focus and demonstrative innovative approaches.
  • Demonstrates professionalism by being reliable, actively contributing in meetings, asking questions, and challenging ideas.
Education

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
