About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Billing Specialist to join our team at Inter-Con Security Systems. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for aiding with account billings and collections, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Review and Processing: Conduct thorough reviews of invoices in Salesforce, ensuring that billing instructions are accurate and processes are followed. Provide backup support with documentation as needed.
- Aging Management and Collections: Oversee timely collections and follow-ups, maintaining clear collection notes on assigned accounts.
- Escalation Management: Resolve escalated issues, including invoice reviews, special projects, and customer inquiries.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and review Salesforce reports, create Pivot Tables - VLOOKUP's, Macros, and present insights to executives and customers.
- Department Reporting: Prepare and update reports for both Billing and Accounting.
- Training and Development: Provide technical and accounting training to improve team performance.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel and Reporting Skills: Expertise in Excel and report writing is essential.
- Leadership and Team Management: At least one year in a leadership role with proven team management skills.
- Organization and Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with all levels, including senior management.
- Salesforce Experience: Preferred experience with Salesforce.
- Teamwork and Independence: Capable of working collaboratively or independently as required.
- Education: BA/BS in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
