Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public areas, including restrooms, showers, and floors. You will also be responsible for dusting surfaces, emptying trash containers, and reporting any maintenance issues to the facilities team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain public areas, including restrooms, showers, and floors
  • Dust surfaces and report any maintenance issues
  • Empty trash containers and ashtrays
  • Inspect furniture for damages and report to the facilities team
  • Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift
