Job Description
As a System Design Engineer at Rockwell Automation, you will be part of our Global Systems and Solutions Business, focused on delivering automation and process solutions to various industries. Your key responsibilities will include creating and maintaining engineered standard designs of industrial control panel solutions, leading new solution development, cost reduction, quality improvement, and process documentation projects. You will work closely with the Engineering Change Manager to establish goals, work plans, and execution development tasks for solutions and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, and CNC instructions for various equipment, including VFD line-ups and custom control panels.
- Develop and maintain engineered standard designs or templates in the new common engineering workstation (CEWS).
- Collaborate with the CEWS project team and Business Systems and Data team to enhance the tool and improve user experience.
