About the Role

Aptiv Plc is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Data Specialist to join our Digital Technology and Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the curation, availability, connectivity, and activation of high-quality marketing data in support of our marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within a cross-functional team to develop and implement a next-generation marketing data platform.
  • Support the development of audiences, marketing automation, content personalization, measurement, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with account-based marketing, marketing automation, and content teams to ensure they have the necessary data and audiences for successful engagement of customers and ongoing marketing optimization through insights.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure effective data collection and campaign tagging across the marketing technology stack.
  • Partner with marketing and data engineering teams on the rollout of our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project, supporting the accessibility and validation of source-system data.
  • Ensure the necessary data governance and best practices are in place and actively maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with our Marketing Data Analyst and engineers to facilitate the provision of the necessary data for Business Intelligence (BI) development and analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingual - proficient in English speaking/reading/writing.
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in either an agency or as part of an in-house team, serving as a marketing data steward or with related responsibilities.
  • A strong understanding of the implementation and maturing of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and data usage; experience with Salesforce is a major plus.
  • Experience translating marketing data requirements into solution design and architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of relational database concepts with exposure to data management, segmentation, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) best practices, scripting, and query development.
  • Experience with digital tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with data tools and techniques such as Excel proficiency (formulas, VLOOKUP's, pivot tables), SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Knowledge of US, European, and international data privacy rules and requirements.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills, an attention to detail, and experience working with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
