About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our Quality Engineering and Innovation efforts at Edwards Lifesciences. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving quality and process excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Quality Engineering and Innovation Efforts
    • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality improvement initiatives.
    • Lead the development and implementation of process improvements and innovations to drive business results.
  • Drive Process Excellence
    • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate with teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities.
    • Lead the development and implementation of process improvements and innovations to drive business results.
  • Develop and Lead High-Performing Teams
    • Develop and implement talent development and succession planning strategies to ensure the growth and development of quality engineering and innovation teams.
    • Collaborate with HR to develop and implement employee relations strategies.
    • Lead and manage high-performing teams to achieve business results.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to senior leadership on quality engineering and innovation matters.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, quality assurance).
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality engineering and innovation, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven experience in quality engineering and innovation, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
    • Ability to develop and implement process improvements and innovations to drive business results.
