This position plays a critical role in driving the growth of ABB Schweiz AG's Building Automation business. Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy Development: Create, plan, and implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve both qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet assigned sales targets for the territory, supporting the overall business through efforts across sales territories in the areas of specification and end-user development.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical areas, determining plans for acquisition and allocating resources.
- Information Sharing: Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc., and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals.
- Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring efficient marketing communications.
- Volume, Profit, and Cost Management: Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by supporting market price and margin for sales, participating in negotiations of key contracts, and managing ongoing costs.
- Risk Management: Monitor client financial status and report any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams, identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
- Sales Process Ownership: Take ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of sales management, business development, or product management experience in the building technology, building automation, or IoT industries
- Proven ability to demonstrate the value of energy efficiency, building automation solutions in buildings (HVAC control, lighting control, access control, etc.)
- Strong technical aptitude, experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) and HVACR markets
- Supportive of digital transformation and new forms of revenue streams, experience with national account and enterprise customers
- Advanced skills with MS Office software products, familiarity with
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer focus
- English advanced level
