Position Overview:

As the Procurement Associate Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive management of Paper and Plastic Packaging for the LATAM region, which includes key hubs in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement the regional Procurement sourcing strategy, ensuring objectives are met for supply continuity, cost efficiency, working capital enhancement, sustainability, innovation, and service excellence.

• Cultivate and manage critical supplier relationships throughout the region, gaining a profound understanding of the market dynamics and supply landscape.

• Execute the sourcing strategy through the RFP process, supplier assessment, negotiation, and contract finalization.

• Spearhead supplier selection and pricing strategies for innovative projects, facilitating their progression from concept to market.

• Collaborate with suppliers to introduce new product and process innovations that drive profitable growth.

• Take charge of Sustainability objectives and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

• Provide inflation forecasts for the budgeting process, monitor commodity trends, mitigate inflation impacts, and deliver pricing information to operational teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement Portfolio/Category Management, Product Supply, or Finance.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the fast-moving Consumer Packaged Goods sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in procurement skills such as market analysis, negotiation, and project management, with a proven ability to execute strategies effectively.

• Experience in Paper & Plastic Packaging and Operational Procurement is advantageous.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence various organizational levels and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment.

• Ability to work autonomously and drive results, demonstrating a solid business acumen to meet financial targets.

• Expertise in financial analysis, capable of organizing and interpreting financial data to support decision-making.

• Skilled in Risk and Opportunity Management, adept at identifying, assessing, and managing risks and their implications.

• Experience in Strategic Sourcing, with a focus on optimizing quality and value in the procurement of materials, services, and equipment.

• Proven ability to manage complex projects amidst uncertainty.
