Position Overview:

As the Procurement Associate Manager, you will take charge of the comprehensive management of Paper and Plastic Packaging across the LATAM region, which includes key hubs in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and oversee the regional Procurement sourcing strategy, ensuring objectives related to supply continuity, cost efficiency, working capital enhancement, sustainability, innovation, and service delivery are met.

• Cultivate and manage significant supplier relationships throughout the region, gaining an in-depth understanding of the market dynamics and supply landscape.

• Implement strategies through the RFP process, including supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, and contract finalization.

• Spearhead supplier selection and pricing strategies for innovative projects, facilitating their transition from concept to market.

• Collaborate with suppliers to introduce new products and processes that foster profitable growth.

• Drive Sustainability initiatives and objectives.

• Provide inflation forecasts that inform the budgeting process, monitor commodity trends, mitigate inflation impacts, and supply pricing information to operational teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.

• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement Portfolio/Category Management, Product Supply, or Finance.

• Minimum of 2 years in the fast-moving Consumer Packaged Goods sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Procurement skills such as market analysis, negotiation, and project management, with a proven ability to execute established strategies.

• Experience in Paper & Plastic Packaging and Operational Procurement is advantageous.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and influencing various organizational levels both internally and externally.

• Ability to work autonomously while managing results, with a solid business acumen to meet financial targets.

• Excellent financial analysis capabilities, adept at organizing and interpreting financial data to support decision-making.

• Proficient in Risk and Opportunity Management, with skills in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks and their impacts.

• Expertise in Strategic Sourcing, focusing on optimizing quality and value in the procurement of materials, services, and equipment.

• Experience managing complex projects amidst high levels of ambiguity.
