We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our Global Franchises, Products & Experiences Finance leadership team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our studios.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios.
- Provide business and finance stakeholders with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.
- Establish a standard, global consolidated P&L reporting for the Products & Experiences function.
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Partner with business finance counterparts to gather inputs and understand drivers.
- Build strong relationships with business partners to enable the flow of information and knowledge sharing.
- Lead and develop the CoE FP&A team supporting Franchises, Products, and Experiences.
- Identify and execute improvement potential in financial planning and reporting processes.
- Experience
- At least 10 years' experience in FP&A, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, or Management Consulting.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis techniques.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Industry Knowledge
- Solid understanding of the entertainment business preferred.
- Essbase, SAP, Tableau experience preferred.
- People management experience (at least 2 years) preferred.
