Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Flexsteel Industries, Inc. team, the HR Director - Juarez Operations will be responsible for:

  • Driving Business Results: Collaborate with leadership to translate current and future business goals and develop strategies to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resource strategies and processes.
  • Leading HR Functions: Lead multi-site HR and HSE teams responsible for supporting the talent requirements of manufacturing facilities located in Mexico.
  • Developing Talent: Partner with leadership to identify and implement organizational structure and skill requirements needed to meet current and future business and functional objectives.
  • Investigating and Resolving Conflicts: Investigate and resolve conflicts by coaching and counseling on human resource matters.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal processes are effective.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of human resource management and leadership partnership experience within a maquiladora.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to fluently communicate verbally and through written forums in Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting a Mexico-based workforce for a global company headquartered in the United States and multi-site HR management experience are preferred.
