About the Role:

The LATAM Demand Planner is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving business decisions and leading a product category. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to improve personally and professionally every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional category marketing, regional finance, and supply chain teams.
  • Acquire, understand, and incorporate demand signals, channel data, and replenishment triggers in the development of the product level demand plan, up to 18 months for a product category across LATAM regions.
  • Establish and maintain SKU-level demand plan for assigned product category using analytical and statistical tools, intelligence gathering, and collaboration.
  • Monitor weekly sales progress, inventory levels, and take corrective and preventive actions with related functions to avoid supply shortages and excess/aging stocks.
  • Prepare and present demand plans, via different scenario planning, actual performances, inventory status, and call out any risks and opportunities with the appropriate solution during monthly S&OP meetings with senior executives.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc performance summaries with fact-based root cause analysis, propose, and carry out corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage all aspects related to weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand planning activities.
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives to refine existing processes and tools and to develop the next generation of activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related subject area.
  • Analytical and outstanding capabilities with demonstrated ability to understand the use of advanced analytics and optimization techniques.
  • Experience in consumer electronics and FMCG or CPG companies is at an advantage.
  • Experienced participation in S&OP processes.
  • Detailed understanding of End to End Supply Chain Operation Process (Demand - Supply - Logistics - Inventory Management - Customer Service).
  • Advanced English spoken and written. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze trade-offs between inventory, air freight, capacity, etc. and make informed decisions/recommendations.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability in face of uncertain or incomplete information.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a positive proactive attitude and a high degree of initiative.
  • Strong teamwork spirit.
  • Advance Excel and experience using planning systems.
