Job Summary

The Technical Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting Vertiv's sales teams by providing technical expertise and guidance on pre-sales activities. This includes participating in demos, providing technical support to resellers, and collaborating with sales enablement teams to improve next-gen tools and solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for pre-sales activities, including demos and technical presentations
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical sales positioning and proposals
  • Assist in training and educating resellers on Vertiv's products and solutions
  • Escalate technical presales questions from national resellers
  • Collaborate with sales enablement teams to improve next-gen tools and solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 13 years of sales support experience in IT industry, with data center experience preferred
  • Strong networking background and industry-recognized certifications
  • Working knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure equipment
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
