Job Description

The Commercial Strategies Senior Analyst is a key role within Citigroup Inc. that plays a crucial part in driving business growth and development. This position is responsible for working closely with merchants to create and implement strategic plans that drive incremental spend and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with top merchants to develop and execute promotions and spend strategies that drive incremental revenue and exclusive experiences for clients.
  • Integrate industry knowledge and research to implement strategies and improve them as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement communication and media strategies for promotions and commercial deals.
  • Assist in the implementation of industry campaigns and tailor-made strategies across merchants and Citigroup consuming products.
  • Analyze P&L, data, and results to inform decision-making and drive business objectives.
  • Work with merchants and cross-functional teams to build skills and propose solutions that meet client needs and drive business objectives.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of how business areas such as business intelligence, fraud, authorizations, acquirement, and legal integrate to contribute to overall business objectives.
  • Apply disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and process improvements for the area or function.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Strategies, Payments, Product Management, and/or Product Development.
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics or industrial verticals with bank products, payments, monthly installments, e-commerce, and promotions solutions.
  • Fluent in English with strong business communication skills.
  • Good social skills with ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and present to clients and senior managers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to apply analytical thought and judgment to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage stress appropriately.
  • Skilled in preparing executive presentations and communicating complex information effectively.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree in administration, marketing, international business, finance, or communication.
