At Alfa Laval Corporate AB, we're committed to pioneering positive impact through innovative solutions. As a P&A Field Service Engineer, you'll play a vital role in identifying business opportunities for our customers, leveraging your technical expertise to drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site data analysis to capture sales opportunities and classify business leads.
- Analyze market trends to identify target markets for our products and services.
- Provide exceptional customer support, including follow-up on actions and agreements.
Technical Expertise:
- Act as a trusted advisor for customers, providing guidance on product shelf life and suggesting process improvements.
- Inform clients about our service portfolio, utilizing your technical expertise to drive sales.
Field Services:
- Execute and provide technical support to customers, including installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of Alfa Laval equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems at customer sites, leveraging your deep product and application knowledge.
- Update and report service executions in our IT systems, ensuring accurate and timely information.
What You'll Learn:
- Become an expert in the thermal field, with a focus on GPHE products.
- Develop your skills as a sustainability ambassador, monitoring energy efficiency and water consumption at customer sites.
- Enhance your technical training skills, educating customers on product features to prevent accidents or misuse.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in service operations and/or industrial fields, including maintenance, troubleshooting, audits, and automation.
- Experience with installation, commissioning, and on-site servicing of complex mechanical equipment.
- English and Spanish communication skills at written and spoken Level B2.
- Travel flexibility, with 75% of time spent out of office.
- Digital skills, including CRM, ERP, and other relevant apps.
- Qualifications and experience with plate heat exchangers are a plus.
