Senior Business Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Managing Consultant to join our Advisors Business Development team at Mastercard. As a key member of our Data & Services team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Mastercard client account teams to manage and resolve client issues.
- Provide custom consulting services, managed services, and information services to drive sales for Data & Services and Mastercard.
- Manage internal and external relationships to drive business growth for Data & Services and Mastercard.
- Lead sales calls and new client development across all lines of Business for a large account or an assigned set of accounts.
- Deliver against sales targets for existing accounts and contribute to Mastercard deal bids.
- Capture senior and mid-level clients' implicit business needs and identify the most critical aspects of the problem.
- Translate objectives into key hypotheses and structure work for large/complex projects.
- Leverage deep knowledge of all the Mastercard Data & Services capabilities to offer new innovative solutions.
- Create succinct, persuasive written materials tailored to the audience.
- Contribute to project delivery, quickly identifying shortcomings and taking remedial action.
- Manage complete capture of assignment knowledge and ensure it is available firm-wide.
- Contribute as a thought leader to the development of intellectual capital and articles.
- Lead Data & Services participation in account team meetings and client meetings.
- Lead Data & Services participation in account planning sessions.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in business development, consulting, and sales. You should have a proven track record of delivering results and driving business growth.
Key qualifications include:
- MBA or relevant post-graduate degree.
- Payments and specifically cards experience.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and sell to a large client or cluster of clients.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think from the perspective of the customer.
- Track record of overachievement.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Knowledge of payment ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee large, complex project execution.
