We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, processing transactions, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the front desk operation.
Key Responsibilities- Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Process guest check-outs, including resolving any late or disputed charges.
- Answer and respond to guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding the property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports, including arrivals, departures, and special requests.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time. The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance is also required.
