About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications & Social Media Specialist to join our team at AIG Mexico. As a key member of our Marketing & Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that showcases the AIG brand, products, and initiatives across the country's social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain AIG Mexico's current social media channels and digital platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with global and regional guidelines.
  • Develop and propose creative online campaigns and content calendars that meet local business priorities and position the AIG brand as a leader in the Mexican market.
  • Supervise community management efforts and collaborate with the customer success team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Coordinate with digital agencies to provide guidance and business drivers, facilitating their work and ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
  • Deploy global and regional digital and social media guidelines and campaigns to the Mexico market, ensuring effective execution and optimization.
  • Estimate, manage, and execute paid media plans for social media and online advertising within the budget, aiming for optimization targets and following regional and global benchmarks.
  • Understand and identify buyer personas and create targeted audience clusters for online advertising and sponsored campaigns.
  • Elaborate with the agency a routine of metrics reporting aligned with regional KPIs for better decision-making and results delivery to the business.
  • Provide social media advisory services for senior executives, especially for LinkedIn, and ghost-write stories and posts.
  • Handle the Marketing CRM (Eloqua) and Inbound Marketing campaigns, ensuring governance of the contacts base in accordance with company's privacy policies and local data protection regulations.
  • Be a brand advocate for design and voice tone/narrative, keeping in mind AIG's differentiators, Purpose & Values, and visual guidelines.
  • Manage all digital and social media expenses and payments according to local policies, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the AIG Mexico's Marketing & Communications team, participating in 360 initiatives and supporting other areas within the team, including internal communications, incentive campaigns, events, and others, according to local needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate social media channels handling, aimed at promoting corporate reputation and target-audiences' engagement.
  • Experience in managing social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others).
  • Experience with online advertising (Google Display Network, Google Search, Native Ads - Taboola, Outbrain, Verizon, Programmatic).
  • Elementary knowledge about websites and blogs (SEO/SEM, Landing pages, Adobe Experience Manager/HTML).
  • Experience with B2B or B2B2C Marketing models.
  • Managing external vendors and agencies.
  • Excellent Spanish writing/content development.
  • Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Creativity and open-mindedness for alternative and innovative digital marketing strategies.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
