About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to join our global Connectivity Service team, supporting the implementation of Security Service Edge (SSE). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing technical analysis, coordinating with support teams, and ensuring SLA thresholds are met.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to network incidents and outages, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime and service disruption.
  • Coordinate with managed service providers to ensure effective implementation and management of SSE solutions, including Secure Web Gateways, Cloud Access Security Brokers, and Zero Trust Network Access.
  • Maintain and update network configurations, ensuring alignment with best practices and security policies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Ensure network operations comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Assist users with network-related issues and provide technical support as needed.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and security using various network management tools and systems.
About You

You will have ample experience in monitoring network performance, managing network incidents, and ensuring high availability and reliability of network services. You will be attracted by the challenges of being responsible for the stability of base services forming the Swiss Re backbone and feel comfortable driving problem resolution investigations.

As a seasoned professional with a hands-on mentality and operational skills, you will possess:

  • +5 years of experience in a technical/network support role
  • Experience with cloud-enabled networking and Security Service Edge products.
  • Working knowledge in the areas of Cloud Network services, secure gateways, WAFs, DDI, CDN, SDWAN, LAN, firewalls, and Internet breakouts/proxies
  • Must have proven knowledge of DDI Services (DNS, DHCP, IP Addressing) in a global environment.
  • In addition, must have proven knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Routing and switching experience in technologies (such as BGP, MPLS, Spanning Tree, etc.), SD-WAN, SDN configuration, Network automation tools (e.g. RestAPI), Network Access Control using Cisco ISE, 8021X, AAA, and ACS, Cisco Wireless networks (WLC, Prime, DNA), Azure networking.
  • CCNA/CCNE or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Network Services and the related internet protocols, Firewalls, and network security
  • Understand complex technology stacks and their dependencies.
  • Ability to read network topologies, drawings, and network documentation.
