**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Operations Planning and Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Celestica Inc. in Monterrey, NLE, MX.

**About the Role**

This is a key position that will play a critical role in planning and scheduling operations to meet customer demands. As an Operations Planning and Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production schedules, analyzing capacity and material availability, and communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement production schedules based on actual and forecasted customer demand, product demand profiles, and knowledge of the customer.
  • Analyze inputs such as capacity, board cycle times, urgency of request, material availability, etc. to determine schedule.
  • Ensure quality and integrity of information used to generate materials requirements plan.
  • Manage issues associated with engineering changes to minimize cost exposure, excess materials, and risk to customer shipment.
  • Participate in the introduction of new products and support transfer/de-transfer of existing products through planning and analysis of common and unique materials in support of project deadlines.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to four years relevant experience in operations planning and scheduling.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic manufacturing environment, materials, and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques, and manufacturing control systems.
  • Good analytical and statistical skills.
  • Ability to plan strategically for coordinated build and delivery of one or several products.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy under tight time deadlines.
