About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Meeting Coordinator to join our team at American Express Global Business Travel. As a Meeting Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing successful meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with event owners to determine meeting logistics, including room setup, food and beverage needs, audiovisual equipment, and ground transportation.
  • Plan and manage all meeting needs to ensure a successful event.
  • Manage vendors and budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Negotiate and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Coordinate online registration and on-site assistance.
  • Reconcile bills and process payments.
  • Provide event owners with detailed reports, including pre-event and post-event reports.
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in meeting planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and timely to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Experience with meeting industry technology is a plus.
