Meeting Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Meeting Coordinator to join our team at American Express Global Business Travel. As a Meeting Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing successful meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities- Work with event owners to determine meeting logistics, including room setup, food and beverage needs, audiovisual equipment, and ground transportation.
- Plan and manage all meeting needs to ensure a successful event.
- Manage vendors and budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Negotiate and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Coordinate online registration and on-site assistance.
- Reconcile bills and process payments.
- Provide event owners with detailed reports, including pre-event and post-event reports.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in meeting planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and timely to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Experience with meeting industry technology is a plus.
