Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Expert to join our team at Fortinet. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and managing internal sales relationships, as well as being a key point of contact for SecOps opportunities with Telcos Mexico.


About the Role


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and marketing, with a proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability. You will be responsible for generating a sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecasting pipeline with two strategies: New Logos & Cross-selling over installed base with Telcos. Additionally, you will work closely with our product and business professionals to develop account and marketing plans for account penetration.


About You


To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, including the ability to make engaging and effective presentations to an executive audience. You will also need to be effective in a collaborative environment, particularly interacting with product and business professionals. Furthermore, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to C-Level Champion in Telco structure (CMOs, C Sales, VP B2Bs, Operational Directors).


Key Responsibilities


- Develop and manage internal sales relationships, as well as be a key point of contact for SecOps opportunities with Telcos Mexico.
- Build and implement account / marketing plans for account penetration.
- Generate a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline with two strategies: New Logos & Cross-selling over installed base with Telcos.
- Telco as Channel effectiveness: Adept at working/developing opportunities with ecosystem telco partners.
- Excellent communicator including the ability to make engaging and effective presentations to an executive audience.
- Effective in a collaborative environment, particularly interacting with product and business professionals.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to C-Level Champion in Telco structure (CMOs, C Sales, VP B2Bs, Operational Directors)


Requirements


- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate Degree favorable. MBA preferred.
- English, Spanish


What We Offer


We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
